A (different) Christmas outfit

This is not a classic Christmas outfit, isn’t it? Crop top, leather gloves, cape, lush bag… Yeah, it’s different.

You are probably surprised to see this look after my previous post about some classy Christmas outfits (check it out here). You see, I left the cape and the gloves. Whereas the gloves are not the elegance element here, but the rock-style detail.

So, let me explain to you a few things about this outfit. I really love to wear black. Black will always be in. I have so many beautiful black cocktail dresses, that are too fancy for the office and need some special occasion. So Christmas is definitely a perfect time to wear all the fancy black dresses and outfits and look gorgeous.

This Ted Baker skirt, for example. It’s “too much” for an office outfit, but it’s perfect as a part of a (different) Christmas outfit.

To dilute the blacks in the outfit and support the flower print on the skirt, I added this colorful DvF bag.

So is it a classic Christmas look? No way! But is it still elegant and appropriate? Oh yes šŸ™‚
